How a Branding System works

Shown here are the most basic elements of a branding system. These pieces used for business papers include logo, letterhead design and business card design. All elements are custom designed for your company and should represent your business in its best and most effective light. The pieces should flow together as a system and demonstrate congruency. When your customers become familiar with your branding system, they will see your collateral or marketing materials and immediately know that it is you before they even read your company name. Most corporate designs should be refined and have a timeless reaction to avoid making changes in following years. The system should appeal to your specific audience to attract the appropriate customer base.

Logo Sketches

Many people ask how a logo begins. This is the first step to designing a logo.

First, you come up with a concept, then you derive imagery from your concept. In this case, the business is a pediatric office that wants a whale as their character personality. There are 3 sketches that emerge from this one idea and from these, 1 will be chosen to define the function of the business.

We will keep you updated as we move forward with this project and give you a front seat view of the rest of the process.

Christmas cards are coming!

Dosher Brochure Imagery

In affiliation with one of our commercial photographers, we shot Dosher Memorial Hospital imagery this month. We are in the process of editing, cropping and retouching the photographs but are expecting great things for this project. The brochure's concept, layout and typography are unusual and exciting, and we are delighted to have imagery to match its quality.

This image shows the new MRI machine in the new Dosher complex, which was implemented last summer.

Be sure to look for posting as the project progresses!
